SETH GRAHAME-SMITH Polishes Up the FANTASTIC FOUR Script
Screenwriter Seth Grahame-Smith has done polish screenwriting work on Fox’s reboot of Fantastic Four. Grahame-Smith was brought in to polish the script written by Jeremy Slater. A few days ago, Mark Millar broke the news via Twitter that Matthew Vaughn was being brought on-board as a Producer for the new movie.
The reboot is taking a grounded superhero and sci-fi approach to the heroes and will tap deep into the comics mythology, which featured not just the better-known villains such as Doctor Doom and Galactus but also alien races the Kree and the Skrull, and the anti-matter universe known as the Negative Zone.
Seth Grahame-Smith is a best-selling author, screenwriter, and producer of film and television.
His first novel, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, debuted at #3 on the New York Times bestseller list. Since its release, “PPZ” has sold over a million copies and been translated into more than 20 languages. Lionsgate is currently preparing a film adaption starring Natalie Portman and directed by David O. Russell.
Seth’s follow up book, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, debuted at #4 and remained on the New York Times Bestseller list over three months. The book spawned a movie movie of the same name by producers Tim Burton, Timur Bekmambetov, and Jim Lemley.
